Description
The ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester is designed to simplify handling during rope ascents. Under normal conditions, the device moves freely along the rope, requiring no manual adjustment, and follows the user’s movements seamlessly. In the event of a shock load or rapid acceleration, the fall arrester engages and locks on the rope, stopping the user. Its integrated locking feature allows the user to secure the device, minimizing the potential fall distance. Additionally, the connection arm ensures the system remains secure when passing through intermediate anchors. The ASAP LOCK is used in conjunction with an ASAP’SORBER or ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber, enabling operation at a distance from the rope
